Each one has their own indulgence and we love wristgear out here and that is exactly why we present the Alpina Extreme Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture. Coming from the famous Alpina line of watches, this supposedly ‘extreme’ watch in all reality looks like a very comfortable and classy luxury watch that you can carry off along with your casuals at a weekend party. Part of Alpina’s own caliber AL-980 automatic tourbillon movement, it sports silicium lever and escapement wheel in the movement. Along with that comes the 48mm wide case that sees this limited edition watch being produced in two versions.
While the first version comes in a brushed titanium case and a pink gold bezel, the second one sports a black ceramic bezel and a pink gold case. With only 18 of each version being brought out by Alpina (Yup, that is just 36 in all), expect then to be booked out much before they ever hit a store shelf. The extreme watch showcases a dial with large minute style hour markers and skeletonized ‘bubble baton’ hands in brushed steel for an intended sporty look.
With all that set and done, we still fail to understand how the Tourbillon Regulator Manufacture is extreme, but we can assure you that it offers plenty of class and makes for a trendy addition to your wristgear collection.
