TES the Italian luxury leather accessories brand has now announced the limited edition “Artigiano” series of hand hammered Damascus steel and alligator belts. The belt is being presented at TRANOI during the Paris Menswear Fashion Week as part of their Autumn / Winter 2012 Men’s Collection. Lorenzo Vaccari, TES founder and Production Director sourced raw Damascus steel tablets which he then cut down to plates measuring 1 cm by 3 cm. Each plate was then attached by hand with 4 screws to a forged solid brass base.
The alligator used for the belt is beeswax treated and lined with the finest malleable calf leather. The Damascus steel is also very rarely used for accessories. This is a limited edition Artigiano Series and only 500 buckles will be produced. Each belt will come with a fire stamped imprint on the reverse side with the series number in this format “1/500 Serie Artigiano Edizione Limitata 2011”.
The Vaccari Family themselves oversee the production and guarantee perfection and quality assurance. They provide a certificate to every buyer guaranteeing the belt’s authenticity and series number. TES has been designing and creating luxury accessories like belts and wallets in exotic leather and buckles in Silver 925, Damascus and Vermeil. TES workshop, located in the small town of Castelfranco Emilia produces everything they release for sale and that’s why they are so confident about their quality.
