A Spa At Home Now On The Wishlist Of The Rich

Long gone are the days when going to a spa was a rare event in your calendar, and that too for only some people. These days, people are getting more and more health and wellness as well as luxe conscious. People who have the cash to spend, and buy those multi million homes want even these spa comforts, which would include pools, treatment rooms, saunas, gym etc etc.

I mean if you are paying that kind of cash, why not have your very own spa. All that cheque signing can be so very tiring. Posh areas like Belgravia, Knightsbrige and Mayfair already have picked up on this trend and now high-end developments are hoping to catch up too. The Lancasters, which is a series of grand Georgian homes near Lancaster Gate that are being redeveloped into 77 ultra luxury apartments, includes a swimming pool, a steam room and a treatment room for the use of residents.

Carl Davenport of estate agents Chesterton Humberts said, “A lot of people will cross a place off their list if it doesn’t have the facilities they want. It used to be parking, portering and outside space, but now you can add a gym and spa to that too.”
