A hi-tech coffee table for your latest gadgets

Today’s’ world is stuffed with gadgets. Everything is made these to compliment or make the use of these gadgets more convenient. So in this hi-tech world, it wouldn’t be surprising that even a coffee table has become a gadget of sorts. Well in this case more than a gadget, it is more of an outlet for your gadgets. Yes, the latest coffee table by designer Philippe Barsol’ coffee table comes with multimedia storage.

His @home coffee table has space to store your laptop as well as your other smaller devices in the table’s side lockers. It is made in a way that it supports the weight of the laptop and can also rise in position so that the screen is at the perfect height for you. That is a great plus point as many a times we have trouble in finding tables which enable us to work for long hours comfortably. But that is not exactly what the designer had in mind.

He considers this to be more of a relaxing area, where you can have your coffee and relax, and maybe work on your laptop as well. It also helps you save space and reduce the clutter caused by these gadgets. What’s more is that there is also an @home sofa with wired compartments.

  1. This is the ultimate high-tech designer coffee table! Such a cool concept; it’s like a livingroom home office right in a coffee table. I’m just curious as to how you get power to the table — run an extension cord to it? That could pose an issue.
