40 Hotels by Gucci by 2025
The plan is out already, the luxury hotelier Elisabetta Gucci is planning 40 hotels over the next 15 years in the Middle East, Far East and South America and now it is intending to open its first hotel in Dubai at the end of this year.
If it wasn’t for the 2009 sharpest drops because of the crisis, the hotel in Dubai by Gucci would have been concluded earlier. Elisabetta Gucci Hotels & Resorts with partner Lorens Ziller stated to the Reuters Global Luxury Summit the construction of the 87-room luxury boutique hotel is completed. And now that is done there would be a firm eyeing of a second hotel in China next year in 2011 and Elisabetta Gucci who is the daughter of the Italian fashion designer Paolo Gucci aims for at least 40 hotel by 2025.
Parallel to that Gucci also intend to extend other hotels for the GCC and outside the other hubs will be mainly Russia, China, Africa and South America mainly Brazil. Nonetheless even after Dubai suffered the dive in 2009 it seems there are signs of improvement since in April, Italian designer Giorgio Armani opened his first branded hotel in Dubai. This was in partnership with the world’s tallest tower with developer Emaar Properties at Burj Khalifa.
Soon the hotel in Dubai will be open after being delayed for almost one year but still the wait was worth it.
